{"id":1909,"date":"2015-06-05T19:17:43","date_gmt":"2015-06-05T18:17:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eyeplug.net\/magazine\/?p=1909"},"modified":"2011-05-21T17:02:10","modified_gmt":"2011-05-21T17:02:10","slug":"the-kinks-reissue-more-classic-albums-in-brand-new-deluxe-format","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eyeplug.net\/magazine\/the-kinks-reissue-more-classic-albums-in-brand-new-deluxe-format\/","title":{"rendered":"The Kinks &#8211; reissues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Kinks &#8211; reissues of more classic albums in brand new deluxe format.<\/p>\n<p>Legendary British guitar group the Kinks are to re-release three classic albums in a brand new double CD deluxe format on 13 June, following the re-issue of their first three albums in March.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring rarities, outtakes, demos, session tracks and in depth liner notes <em>Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire)<\/em> (1969), <em>Face to Face<\/em> (1966) and <em>Something Else<\/em> (1967) will be released in June, while Ray Davies\u2019 Meltdown is in full swing on London \u2019s South Bank.<\/p>\n<p>This 2-CD expanded edition comes with deluxe packaging containing Mono and Stereo mixes as well as BBC sessions and short interviews, all re-mastered from original tapes by well-known Kinks archivist Andrew Sandoval. The CD booklets were designed by award winning art director Phil Smee and comes packed with rare and unreleased images.<\/p>\n<p>These releases follow March\u2019s re-issue of <em>Kinks<\/em> (1964), <em>Kinda Kinks<\/em> (1965) and <em>The Kink Kontroversey<\/em> (1965).<\/p>\n<p>The re-issue track listings are:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Arthur<\/em><\/strong><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Disc 1<\/p>\n<p>1.
