The band promise that their EP was, \u2018Just a taste of the embryonic promise of things to come!\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From the 48 second blast of \u2018Blindfolds\u2019 to the brooding, creepy expanse of \u2018King Of The Junkies\u2019 Black Junk have been described as, \u2018Rabid, off-kilter, filthy punk rock\u2019\u00a0 \u2013 think the Pixies combined with Motorhead, the sonics of Girls Against Boys and the nerve-splitting post-hardcore volatility of the Blood Brothers. Opener, \u2018Glory Horn\u2019 was originally released as a split-single to celebrate a UK tour with Antlered Man quickly becoming a crowd favourite, whilst \u2018Bowie\u2019s Ghost\u2019, the band\u2019s first video displays the trio\u2019s uncanny knack for combining the short-sharp-shock treatment with their unmistakable visceral sound.<\/p>\n<p>Recorded in a chaotic 72 hour chemical haze, Black Junk is a guitarless tour-de-force containing just over 30 minutes of urgent, blister-fuzz future rock n\u2019 roll.
