From the post-punk, psychedelic mood-pop side comes Nottingham\u2019s The Six Ten with thee swaying \u201cThe Night\u201d while U.K. mates The Barons Boys mythologize the Syd Barrett sound wonderfully on their cool \u201cBeautiful Day\u201d. Toss in the nocturnal, buzzing tones of Green Fuzz\u2019s \u201cI\u2019m Not Here On My Own\u201d and you are set for a trip outside reality if you wish. We can\u2019t forget the influence of Salford lad Mark E. Smith on top examples Clambake (\u201cEye Ball Song\u201d) and the brilliant Deano\u2019s Hose (\u201cFat White Belly\u201d).
